Graham’s Lighting opened in 1957 with a focus on bringing quality lighting to the Memphis area. Graham’s was opened by James Graham, Sr at what is now our Midtown location. We have since grown to have 2 Memphis locations, an import division that still brings lighting over from Italy, a manufacturing facility that makes some of the finest indoor and outdoor fixtures in the business. Graham’s has also added architectural hardware and outdoor furniture. We currently have the following open positions to join our team.
Sales Position Friendly, outgoing person needed for full-time inside sales position. Willingness to work in an ever-changing yet rewarding environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Express a positive, professional and upbeat attitude when speaking with customers
- Remain aware and knowledgeable of promotional programs, competitive products, and key selling points of products and technologies
- Answer showroom questions and phone questions pertaining to customer order requests and product questions
- Interact with customers in person and on phone
- Provide quotes and assist with all customer satisfaction related inquiries
- Follow up with customers regarding questions or concerns that could not be immediately resolved
- Communicate with vendors to clarify discrepancies or issues with customers’ products
- Perform administrative tasks such as general e-mail usage, sales program order entry, etc.
- Research to further self-knowledge will involve both written and verbal communication with our customers, vendors and internal team;
Requirements
- 2+ Years of Inside Sales experience
- Track record of achievement with strong ability to be a self-starter
- Confident phone presence and strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to rapidly learn products and processes
- High-level of integrity and resilient temperament
- Experience in the Lighting / Home Décor category is beneficial but not required
Location: 2 locations in Memphis (Midtown & Cordova); applicant must be flexible to work at either store

Will CallFriendly, hard-working person needed for a will call/display position for a lighting showroom.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Mechanically inclined as to assemble and hang light fixtures
- Express a positive, professional and upbeat attitude when speaking with customers
- Answer showroom questions and phone questions pertaining to customer order requests and product questions
- Interact with customers in person and on phone
- Organizational skills to ready orders for pickup or delivery
- Follow up with customers regarding questions or concerns that could not be immediately resolved
- Perform administrative tasks such as general e-mail usage, sales program order entry, etc.
- Ability to work with a fast paced team of sales people
Requirements
- Track record of achievement with strong ability to be a self-starter
- Must be able to safely climb ladders and lift at least 25 pounds regularly
- Confident phone presence and strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to rapidly learn products and processes
- High-level of integrity and resilient temperament
- Experience in the Lighting / Home Décor category is beneficial but not required
